Have I gotten better over the past year or not? Yes/no.

Simple question. Here's a track I've recently finished.



And the same song, same vocal, a year earlier. Completely different beat.



So, have I gotten better? And if the answer is "no", that's OK.
 
Yeah, it makes sense that these would be things I'd get better at. Mixing is still pretty simple but I'm using a few more tools and making better use of buses. And groove, well, I should theoretically have been good at that a year ago having played bass for years, but I don't think I was good at applying that to programming parts for a track.
