Taking a stab at some funk house stuff. This is my second completed track. Would love feedback on arrangement, mixing, etc...

First off good job! Sounds nice, great production quality. Don't get mad at the rest of the post because it is all supposed to be helpful. The intro is a little long. The build is so close to great, needs something though, like an oomph to set over the edge. I suggest changing your drums and adding some percussion and another hat.

Hey, really good job, if it's your second track! There are some tips to get a broader sound: You can layer different sounds very low and pan them hard out, so it doesn't stand out, but adds to the overall feeling. Instead of using a completely different sounds, you could delay one of the two stereo signals <50 ms or pitch it just 1 or 2 cents to get an effect as well. Try messing around with it...
