This beat has real potential. I would add some sort of atmospheric pad to round it out. It could use something more in the high end range. Cool track man!

Definitely digging the vibe you're putting out here, that sidechain with the kick and the ambient pad-like noise is really chill, a very good start. Some switch ups in percussion and other melodic sounds are called for, but of course that'll come in due time. I would definitely spend some time in the lab with this one, since this is a pretty good start
