Did a quick remake of Drake- Marvin's Room yesterday and would appreciate some feedback

pretty much hit the nail.. and yea the drums need to come a little harder... If you dnt mind me asking, what'd you use to remake it?

To be completely honest... your version is not very similar to the Orginial Marvins Room.

First off... the kicks have this high pitched screech which you need to get rid of. The bg pad is off, yours sounds like strings going up a chord, where as the original soundsless harsh and has more variations too it. just listen to that again. Also at 1:40, you are missing the rim shot and the shakers.

The piano doesnt sound half bad though.YOu fooled me for a second, i thought i was listening to the original. Overall you did alright. I definitelycould tell what song you were maing, but your just a little bit off. Yourversion sounds a little more like Jojos version of Marvins room. GO listen to it! Also, could you take a look at my latest track located in my signature?
