What bass is this?

It sounds like (possibly) a string bass combo with something like timpani or tweaked/muted sine wave and reverb. That's from one listen on an iPhone speaker; no headphones.

Pro tip-- Not everything is/should be a preset. Learn your instruments (what they sound like individually), and it will be easier to hear them when layered or mixed together. Learn the basics of synthesis, and you will know how to mimic the sounds of the instruments that the synth or sample you are hearing is mimicking.

I hear the tampany, but there is a bassline being combined with it.

Is there a plugin, or tutorial that you could recommend to me?
