Creative commons old theme music/old jazz?

Just curious, I'm only just getting into sampling now, but in the interest of not worrying about clearing samples, are there any collections of creative commons theme music/jazz orchestral pieces (20's to 50's)?
 
No. Creative Commons didn't exist until a few years ago. If you mean Public Domain, by default any "collection" of such material on LP or CD would be under copyright protection. You'd need original source recordings that fall into the public domain (1922 or earlier, I believe). It's generally difficult to find these and then sample them from 78rpm or Edison Cylinder...
