If you have Fruity Loops 5 check out the fruity slicer. I've had mixed results with it but it will automatically do the slicing for you.

fruity loops has its own wave editor that you can use but if you want a more in-depth program check out Adobe Audition

The FL SLicer is a great tool to chop beats it's that mot people can't understand how to work it and think it is difficult when it's actually very simple.
Any chopping I do, I do it with the FL SLicer. You can check out some of my beats if you which and hear the results by clicking my sig if you want.

i use wavelab or soundforge for all of my editing. but when working with fruity slicer its best to run your samples threw recycle and chop them where you want. also its best to import the exact loop or pieces you want to eliminate cunfusion and the slow loading process. i use recycle for all the end results. i use reason and fl 5 heres some of my work here. http://www.audiostreet.net/profile.aspx?profileid=9960&mode=playlist
