505 or 808

im considering upgrading from a measly Sp-303 to an Sp-808 or an Sp-505. I do sample based beats and im tryin to see which would be better for that...

I would really would like to know which one could program drums the best.

I have never owned none of the SPs but I think first u should look at what the 505 and 808 has to offer. Basically compare them. Below is a link to where u can see all three of them being compared. Hope that helps.

The 505 is more user friendly. I make my beats with that but the 808 has the built in 4 track which coudl help alot. You should check out the 808EX its a nice looking machine.

i dont like the 808 the 505 aint bad tho neither have much sample time if i remember correctly

why not look at the 606...going for a pretty reasonable price right now...

If you get a 128mb Smartmeduia card the 505 can hold 128 minutes of sample time.
