I've been looking at this to add to my setup....

It's monitor control, plus D/A converter, plus analog summing.
They also make an analog summing box that straight 16 inputs, to 2 outputs.
Basically, I think it would be nice to have an extra 6db or so of headroom when mixing. Now I can make those drums HOT and PUNCHY lol

it's also a monitor controller, like the presonus central station or mackie big knob
