I've read in one of Mano's replies that i should use a DAT recorder to record my sessions. can't i just save it as a wav file in my hard disk and burn it on a cd? will there be difference in sound quality?

i mention DAT when i see that people dont want to do too much with their computer. Furthermore, DATs can last a long time (much more reliable backups than CDRs or Hard Disks IMO) plus its what Studios use in general to store their tracks.

plus sometimes if you use your computer to sequence (midi) you wont be able to capture audio accurately. you need a fast machine with a multi-channel sound card to do that and rely on it.

anyway guys, i''m off, got huge list of stuff to do :)

take care!!
