Tracks Sounding Amateur

On the original sample you posted. I will go back and listen but that sounds about right.

Making your mixes sound good is a long process, some things you can do to help:

-Basic sound treatment, even a few pads in the right places can help
-Mix in mono as much as you can to get the mix sounding good. Mono reference speakers help with this. Also try and mono record everything below 200 ish Hz
-Sound selection - think about what sounds you will use, if there will be lots to EQ it could pose a challenge in your mixdown.
-Reference your mix on as many sound setups as you can, i.e. earbuds, car stereo, bluetooth speakers, cell phone, aside from your main setup.
-Remember, it doesn't have to sound perfect on every sound system, just 'good'

Hope this helps!
