Its Autotune. Beetmaker VST can reproduce the same EXACT effect. Need protools though.

It's called the "Been done too damt much and it's getting OLD" effect, lol.

how are you supposed to get those to work on audio??

i have both and can't figure it out for the life of me!

and yeah, i just want the t-pain effect.
 
The effect T-pain uses on his voice is called auto-tune, but you cant just use auto tune and you get the t-pain effect.
your have certain settings which you have to apply, these are:

Set the Re tune to fast
Set the Tracking to Relaxed
The Rate,Variation, onset delay , onset rate,pitch should be set to zero

Put the amplitude and Formant to max i.e

Amplitude to 30 and the Formant to 100

I recommend you record with auto tune but i don't really see the difference

Use those Settings and you should have the t pain effect
 
a lot of people ask, and like you i was interested to find out myself, but by the time these people learn what it is and how to use it, trend is over... im tired of it personally.

how do you get GSNap to do the T-Pain effect on audio, that or ReaTune???

i didn't mean to sound so demanding, i was just kidding, lol.
