Sound editing in Ableton

Having recently come to Ableton Live 8 from FL Studio, I am trying to find an audio editing tool like Edison in FL. So far I have not been able to find one, does anyone know an equivalent?
 
SoundForge...You know once you get comfortable in Ableton you probably will slowly stop using it. I still use it for things that need true editing, but putting a beat together you don't need an extra editor, its just more control.
 
Edit your samples in the arrangement view; or you could get the Edison VST and use that in Ableton

I've pretty much stopped using an external editor with Live. But yeah, SoundForge or Wavelab are good choices but also pretty expensive - depending on what kind of editing you need to do, there's plenty of others that'll probably suffice for a lot less money.
 
Then you should check out the poll I just started Krushing I could really use your advice you seem to know the ins and outs of the music game ;p
