Screen recording my music?

I notice a lot of people screen record their songs, and it seems like it attracts a lot more viewers because they want to see how they're making it.. Is this how I should be doing it?

There is never a way you "should" be doing it. Are you making music for viewers or are you making music for yourself? Who cares about viewers it should do something for you. Lots of people prefer leaving it a mystery of how it's made; all about how it sounds not how they got there. Ask yourself why are you making music, not why are others making music
