removing hiss in vocals!!!

i need help with removing hiss.i can mix the vocals alright and they sound good,but when i say words with s i can hear the hiss. i was wondering if there was a way to remove that hiss. i tried remove hiss,but it just muffled it. maybe its the way i am pronouncing the letter s in the word.

is there another way by chance? the program i use doesnt use vst. i would use another program,but i dont have good ram memory and i already know how to mix in this.

ReaFIR. Noise subtraction. Very nice indeed. But a gate would be at the top of the list. Very last would be a EQ.

i usually add a de-esser while im recording then any background hiss will be removed with audacity
