J J Son New member Aug 3, 2010 #1 Which one of these mics is better for recording vocals? (Rap of course). MXL V67 Or Rode NT1-A Mic?
saturatedskillz New member Aug 3, 2010 #2 It's really a matter of preference, Both are good mics for the price. The NT1 sounds kind of thin to my ears. If it was me I would go with the V67. If you save up a bit more the V87 is a dope mic too. Just my 2 cents P.S. both can be modded down the road to by oktavamodshop: http://www.oktavamodshop.com/index.php?cPath=1_46 Last edited: Aug 3, 2010

I would say it's a way better mic than the V67, but that's just my 2cents so don't take it to the bank.
