I was looking at the MXL pro pack plus .. it's a 2003 large diaphram mic and a 603 .. looks like a pretty decent overhead for kits. . I was thinking of picking up two kits.. so I had matching stereo mics for a variety of applications .. .
I can't find these locally anyplace, so I can't give them a listen. Has anyone tried these, or better yet owns them and likes the sound? from everything I've read they should be great for acoustic instruments.. and they pick up alot of sound (gotta be in a quiet room, or you'll get everything) .. I can think of alot of applications where that could be very useful.
Let me know please... money is unbeliveavly tight, but I've only got 2 dynamics right now (AKG 8000s.. decent mics) .. I'd like a few decent condesners.. and 4 for less than $200 sounds like a great deal
