hi peeps......i need some advice on those two mics because i am producing hip-hop and i have got only a choice of one of these two mics to rap on......help.....which one is the best to buy for rapping on?.......

woops!......sorry for tha mistake !!!.........i mean MXL 990 NOT MML 990......LOL......HOLLA......

i have the B1 and it has the perfect rap sound. (if you have a good pre-amp). i have no complaints accept it can be a little bassy. but cool edit can fix that. make sure you have phantom power.

beat broker thanks 4 tha advice.......i trust you since you got the mic yourself...........but how do i use it using my p.c..?......do i need any aditional cables etc?.......holla.................help!!........

you need to get a pre-amp with phantom power (48v). if cost is a issue I would go with the tascam 122 or the duo(not sure of the company that makes them) the two pre amps listed connect to your pc through usb. the 122 is powered through the usb which is good for laptops. I have had both and i prefer the tascam because it has rca and hedphone outputs so you can controll all of your pc's sound through it(if you set the input and output to the usb port)

thanks guys but did u guys manage to record quality stuff with the Behringer b1 ?......because i'm looking to master a hip-hop beat to make it a record later on.............holla............

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Don't even think about getting the Behringer B1 mic. It is a very thin too airry high end mic. The MXL 990 is okay. But I'll tell you this. Any of these mics will do you good under 100 bucks
1. Studio Projects-$79
this is a VERY clean mic. ummm...heres an example

He uses a Studio Projects B1 on his songs.

2. MXL V67- I think that's it
never expierienced but heard positive reviews.

You'll need a preamp with every condenser. My preamp came in the Mixer.
I got a Behringer Eurorack UB1002. It will give you a crystal clear sound
I copped it for 59 bucks.
You can get the lower versions for like 40 and 50 also.

I use a SM58 on my vocals. But I hate it. Dynamic mics are wierd when equalizing. heres my audios with the SM58

Now I use a Studio Projects B1. It's good
