matchin up vocals to a sample

wassup i wanted to no how to match vocals wit asample, i have this sample of a song for the beat and this acappella of another song that i want to put over that beat, is ther a way to match them up so their at the same tempo, and on time ? Thanx i appreciate any help. Peace.
 
The best way to do that is cut down the lows on the EQ for the track that has the vocals. Next get both the beat and vocals on acid, samplitude, cubase, etc. The best way to find out what the tempo of each is to match up the waves for one bar.
 
first, find the bpm of both tracks. then get abbleton live. its absolutely perfect for this... youll want to stretch the vocal to fit the track...

i assume you are familiar with the basic definition of 'time-stretching'. if not, search the forums for that...
