Mastering without killing the kick

Hello, i'm having some trouble being able to make my beat loud without destroying the sound, mainly the kick and bass. For example in beats such as the ones I have linked below, their whole sound remains loud and clear, especially the kick and bass, no matter if i'm listening on monitors or phone. When i'm finished making and mixing my beat and am happy with the sound, I generally just put a maximizer on my master to get it louder but by the time I can even get it close to the overall loudness they have, my kick is drowned out with no punchiness and the bass doesn't sound clear at all. So pretty much is there something i'm missing or anything I can do to get my beat loud while keeping the kick and bass clear and punchy. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

Try sidechaining some of the other elements to make room for the kick.
If you're using FL Studio, you can use gross beat and set it on sidechain mode.
If you're using logic pro, you can use a plugin called LFO tool as well.
Don't know much about Ableton or any other DAWs.

A big one is just trying not to make everything "loud" and "big."

If you are limiting, dial it back some. Bass and kick are transient and will get crushed hard.
