Guys, just wondering for the song "No Brainer" by Justin Bieber, Quavo, Khaled etc, how do they get that sound when they say "Hit Em High" and "up top" in the chorus? For example at 0:44 here:



My guess is a HPF and LPF vocal? But it sounds like there's something else on it.
 
Your guess was pretty accurate. Its a HPF on the vocals probably tuned. It also has an extra amount of reverb to allow it to stick out from the other vocals. Most likely that reverb has a shorter decay and also a hpf so it doesn’t sound muddy. Hope this helps!
