Hello FutureProducers! I recently started a new youtube channel as a resource where I will give tips in different music subjects in short 1 minute videos only. The reason for this is because there are so many long and dwelling tutorials out there and I've never been able to completely listen them through. Everything won't be perfect but check out my latest video if you have the time

Very challenging to cover that topic in 60 seconds! De-essing, delays, saturation, parallel compression, doubling, pitch correction, so much more to mixing, which I'm sure you know! haha

Do you think is important to have a reference track while mixing? I mean Im a recording artist and I send my songs to somebody else to get them mixed/mastered,should I send a reference track as well?
    Thank you
