How Effective Will My Set Up Be???

It will be as much effective as u want it to be based on the time and effort u put into.
 
Man!!!! I use every single exact same piece of equipment, except I also use a Presonus Mic Pre. That is Wild!!!


Let me tell you from experience. My setup runs fine. As long as your PC is up-to-date you will be ok. I recently upgraded to Acid Pro 6 and the Nomad Factory Plugins.I have been running ProTools M-Powered 7 for a few months now and it was working well. There were some latency issues as far as the communication between proTools and the card but nothing too bad. I can run an MPC into my setup with no problem. For the price you can't beat it. As long as you use good cables and know what you are doing you'll be fine. With digital recording, plugins and preamps are everything. I major in audio engineering and have witnessed miracles with just a soundblaster 16 and some free plugins.
