Got a question about FL Studio 9 if anyone can help.

I am recording instruments and vocals through an audio interface into Edison and dragging cut clips straight into the playlist (Vocals skip Edison and record straight into the playlist). Everything has worked perfectly so far, until I accidentally duplicated a short sound clip that I cut out of a vocal take. For some reason when I did this, the entire voice clip started playing again instead of just the part I cut and it was invisible. I tried deleting the original clip, but It keeps playing. Nothing in the pattern screen is playing it. anyone know what da ****s goin on??

check your mixer channels. Sometimes edison is open in one of them and everytime you push play it might be playing the audio clip you are speaking of. IF that doesnt work try taking every edison out of the mixer. If that doesnt work just export you mixer tracks and start recording in a new file
