    FL studio 12 not taking input from iphone mic

    My normal mic works, and my laptop mic works.
    but I want to use my iphone mic cuz it's not as shit and it's easy to use.
    anyone know how i can do that?

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sound like you're trying to simply connect your iPhone to your laptop via USB, and record into fruity loops? I don't think that fruity loops is going to recognize the iPhone as an audio source in its audio input device...who knows, maybe there is an adapter you can purchase to make it do that, but not to my knowledge.

    If your audio interface has an input connection for "line input" you can get it that way. Do you have an audio interface that has line input?


    if not, you'll have record yourself on the phone and email the files over, and mix them in using your DAW...
    not the ideal way to work with vocals, but...

    Or you could use StudioMux & some kind of a recording app & stream into FL via the Lightning cable.

    I don't have an interface, I have a better mic that works great but This would be a lot easier to just record Quick takes I know I won't use.
