Eqing samples

hey wassup, i wanted to know how do u eq samples in Fl Studio, i mean do u add a wave shaper, free filter, stereo enhancer or other things or wat. If anyone knows please tell me, i appreciate it a lot thanx. Peace.1

use effects you feel the sample needs or could have to sound better. keep your mind open and try different effects and combinations. I myself use nearly always on every sample track eq, compressor and sum kind of stereoenchanting like reverb etc. eq for cutting useless frequencies and prolly lifting some essential ones and compressor to get dynamic sound. but of course all depends on the material and the nature of the sound.
