A atothebside New member Aug 10, 2009 #3 There really is no cheat sheet for any kind of mixing. Every song is dirfferent. There are some general ideas as to how to tackle problem frequencies, but if you were to use the same settings for every song, nothing would sound good!

lostcheshirecat Shane O'Connor Aug 12, 2009 #6 if it was a simple as a cheat sheet, gear manufacturers would just make "the hip hop eq" (avalon haha) give us audio examples of your mixes, and i could probably advise you on what to change to make your mixes sound better.
