I need a good mic for recording Male RnB vocals

Im considering the Rode NTK
Anybody have any suggestions or opinions about this mic or any others..thanks I got $600

I bash the TLM 103 at times for being hit-or-miss but if you can find one used and in good condition for $600 I'd give it the thumbs up for male vocals (mid to lower pitch). Not that it can't work for higher pitch ranges but if I'm recording a higher register I want some silkyness, which the 103 doesn't give me. You can likely find one for $600, just look for the ones without the shockmount. You can get a cheap shockmount off ebay that will fit it and it should work well.

I've been going through some past recording with a 103 and the vocals are usually pretty solid. Just sounded horrible with certain vocals.

I do not agree that a U87 should be your only vocal mic, especially if its going to break the bank.
A shure sm7b if you want dynamic sounds great.
An Audio technica 4047 is a pretty smooth sounding condenser
I agree with a used 103 too.
If you wanna take my word on it- try a RED type-b with the stock capsule on it, the best mic I've heard for anything under 1500 and it looks really cool.
