I just purchased this fairly cheap mixer to use with Cool Edit Pro 2.0. I know it's not much but I wanna get the most out of it. There's a dude that I go to college with and that's all he uses too (Cool Edit Pro and the same mixer I have)and his music quality is aight. Can someome school me on working with this mixer? How do I know what to set the knobs on? What additional chords do I need? Thanks in advance.

The only other thing that I'm using is an Omnidirectional Dynamic Mic with Cool Edit Pro 2.0. I'm just gonna be loading up instumentals and some beats I made on Fruity Loops and rapping off of them.
