Beginner: What's a Master Buss?

the master fader is the level control on the masterbuss. The master buss is a channel that everything eventually gets routed through.

Ok I think I get it..

So lets say I have 5 vox tracks, if I route them to a Mono Aux track. would that be considered my master buss??

No. The master buss is where all the sound ends up, and is the final fader before the sounds become a stereo signal. For example, you can mix your song and bring up or down the individual faders of instruments, but if you pull the master fader(fader of master buss) all the way down, everything will be silent. understand? It controls the overall volume of the whole song. This is where you can patch in reverb on your whole mix or any other effect..
