automation problem

Hi there

I am facing a problem with a track I am mixing. All tracks are volume automated (plus reverb send automation for most of them). The problem is that the overall master level is quite low and right now I am using a limiter on the master track to
bring it up. Is there a way to turn all the volume automation up keeping the overall balance and not damage my mix
cause I like the balance - fade ins and outs and the way its track appear - disappear in relation with other tracks in the mix or the balance of reverb send (post fader).

ps I am using Reaper but I guess if there is a way would be common for most daw's
 
- Use your master fader > The best and simplest solution
- Use the limiter gain > No downstream mastering allowed
- Turn up your monitoring > Doesn't actually boost the resulting file
