Im using a Emu 0404 Digital Recording Soundcard, and i have a certain channel my mic is recording from, it will say something like "ASIO in 7/8 Host" Meaning i have to insert this channel into my Adobe Audtion program, does anyone know how to Do this? I've been fooling with this for the last 30 minutes and my nerves are already about to explode, someone holla @ me with some Help pleaseeeee. Peace!!!!

Close Audition.

Open patchmix dsp

Start new session. Use 44.1 default multitrack.

Left and right physical inputs will be send to "ASIO 1n 1/2 host".

Open Aution.

Select ASIO driver as audio driver in preferences/options.

If recording mic, add a mono track, select input 1 or left input and record.

This is where im stuck at sleepy, i can't find the audio driver under options (there is no preference) can u be a bit more specific on when im cilcking options on what to do?

i have the same problem, exept i know where to find the preferences, but in my case, asio does not appear in the options, only the e-dsp,the original sound card witch is realtek and line in mic in,anyone please help....

I don't know if Audition supports ASIO, use WDM if asio is not available, which would be the E-DSP driver. It's the same procedure.
