What is some good video editing software especially for music videos?

Final Cut Pro on osx, sony vegas on pc.
And I am sometimes working with Ableton Live, for cut, paste, crop video, it's quite simple and good.

Final Cut Pro X is awesome I use it for all my videos. If you dont have mac premier is good but you need a powerfull computer to really get the full potential from it. Sony vegas is good to start with tho. thats what i started on.

Final Cut Pro IX (X has been watered to the consumer level rather than the pro level - this has been discussed at some length in other threads) if you want to have backward compatibility and cross company compatibility
