So I am just a dad. I want to be supportive of my 8 (EIGHT!) year old that i hate to say- is mixing some pretty damn cool sounding songs through apps on his ipad and some little midi things. He loves electronic music like dubstep and edm, and I have no idea where to go to get him help! Everything I find online is for people with crazy dj/producer setups, or for educated adults. I mean- hes a second grader, the way a lot of these tutorials and online classes go are way too advanced. He's already made about 50 full length songs, and about 10 of them are LEGIT. I want to support him, but am lost at how.
We recently got him an axion 25 midi hes been playing with, and am looking at launchpads (too advanced for 8yo?)
