Is it worth getting an 8 year old Mic?

Long story short, I've seen a great Mic on sale on eBay, the user states it is in great condition and sounds just like the day he got it. But its 8 years old. The user has 100% feedback so seems trust worthy, and its going considerably cheaper.

Would you recommend buying it? There's a no return policy though..

At4047, should be goin.for around 350 dollars. Sounds expensive but everythin is.more expensive in England

Never used a AT4047 but i hear they sound great, $350 sounds like a deal to me...

Age is no problem at all if 1) it's a good product and 2) it's in good condition.

People still buy Technics 1210 after all and they date from the 70s.
