Why did you start producing??

Hey guys,

I am doing a little bit of research for the reasons why you guys started producing music. I need it for my music tech course as my teacher over the summer said he would like us to try and find the main reason/s that people start to produce. Any stories as to why you started producing would be great :)

Because I was surrounded by music my entire life, my father and his brothers played music, in bands/clubs, at home. I live in a city where music is everywhere, next door neighbor is a drummer, around the corner a pianist lives, and all his sons are recording musicians. Most of my best friends played music at some point in there life, I could go on and on but hey, that's enough about me.
 
I have also grown up around music. I love playing guitar and listening to others play instruments as well. It just seemed like a natural thing for me to do since I am so fond of music. I figured why not learn to record and produce my own sound as well. =]
