When should I Research and when should I Produce

I literally have a huge list of things that I want to find out about, make and test in my DAW. The thing is I am worried that doing so much research and not enough track making is bad. I was thinking that once I have done my main research I could get on with making lots of tracks afterwards. Should I make practice tracks in between or just finish the research.

Btw I get stressed very easily especially the fact that I go to college. That messes with my music consistency. If anyone says quit music for now I swear I will hate you forever.

Do both. Your tracks will improve over time, the more you learn... A fact none of us can escape. But you can also learn from your mistakes. So keep making music, researching music and audio topics, and of course... do your homework.
