I am curious which talbes would be good to begin scratching?I heard that the Staton Scratch pak was decent. If anyone has suggestions please feel free to answer..peace
i purchased the skratch pak (lame spelling, guess they're using the typical approach of marketing to our generation) about a month ago as my first TT setup. i haven't been disappointed thus far (well, the headphones leave something to be desired....). occasionally will skip if i work the tables too hard, but adjusting the tonearm weighting seems to cure that. my roommate has been using 1200s for years and he said that for the money he's pretty impressed. not his 12's, of course, but he was punishing them with nary a skip. i got the setup at guitar center for $500, in case you're wondering price.
