What do you think of my 1st decent produced beat?

I made this song called "Nightlife" during fall 15. I was playing around on garage band on my iphone and I made a lil melody and I digged it a lot. Luckily the same synth was on the desktop version so I recorded the lead and put in Fl Studio and the rest is history. :victory: I'm just curious what you guys think about it and what genre doe's it sound like to you? Does it give off a high-energy/party vibe to it? Thx in advance.

I think it definitely has potential, but when the bass comes in, it sounds kind of distorted and messes with the volume of the rest of the track. Try cutting it a bit or turning it down. Besides that, just keep practicing mixing and doing what you're doing man, i gave it a like.
