tape return??

It's just a line-level input really but it would normally be used for the signal from whatever medium you're mixing down to(2-track reel-to-reel , DAT etc)
 
It would usually have it's own level control(fader/Pot) and can then be routed to aux/monitor outs/master etc but won't have all the features of a regular mixer-channel(eq/Dynamics/insert points /Routing options etc..).
It's usually just used for monitoring
a signal.
 
could i monitor the mix thats going into my comp from there? if so how would i hook it up? please read my other post (audiophile usb help)
