"restretch all channels" in fruity loops?

If i loaded a guitar sample into the fruity sample at 120bpm, then i changed them tempo of the whole track to 100bpm.

I get a dialog saying "restretch all channels" is this bad for the audio in the sampler?

What exactly does this mean?
 
Also, is this a destructive change to the audio file?


If i click "yes" and then close the project, will that sample be permantly affected, even when its not in my song in fruity loops?
 
meaning it will change the tempo of the guitar loop to fit the projects new tempo i believe.

No it isnt destructive
