Reaper with padkontrol

Hey guys i have a numark usb turntable a korg padkontrol and a bunch of demo DAWs. I like Fl but it is expensive right now but reaper looks like it could be good. I really wanna sample old records and trigger them with my padkontrol and make beats would reaper be good for this if not any other suggestions?

I own both a padkontrol and reaper.... cobo is a win/win in my books. I use my padkontrol and poise for drumss and it works great! If you get reaper, reaper 3 explained is a most.... best videos out there for reaper Reaper Explained by Kenny Gioia

i use reaper and an mpd32 with poise.. its great, just import/record samples then drag them onto the pads and use its loop system to fine tune the chops. if setup properly you can get a serious setup going.. id imagine the padkontrol would be as good
