One of My Biggest Habits

With all my beats I have a few habbits. Some can be compared to a style but this one is a easy one to listen and point out. I use brasses for my deep holds/lines in the background. I always knew that I used them too much but just recentely am I finding it to be annoying. What could I use to replace these? Bass lines help but they don't always cut it. Would using pads be the best bet? Just something that fills in the whole beat. Something that can match the fulfillment of brasses.

Deep pads, Low Sines/Saws, Deep square Synths, or just use any type of synth the equalize it with bass to be fat and full...

I usually only use brass as a backing if there are other Orchestra instruments in there or where ever i see fit.
