Mbox -vs- Lexican Omega

hey was up guys? I am kinda confused on what to get to record. I was set on gettin the Digidesign Mbox because it has protools which is the "industry standard" but when goin to guitar center i was told that the Lexicon Omega was actually better not inly in price but overally. He also stated that the Omega has a better learning curve. Can anyone who owns or has messed with both of these please help out?
Also I have a mpc 2xl and a microkorg so which would be better in terms of in and outputs..?thanks in advance

well with the m box ull need a midi man, its good, excpecially with protools

I have a friend that has an omega. The only advantage that the Omega has is the midi. The program that it comes with,(pro tracks i think) is nothing but a very scaled down version of sonar 2. Over all I think le is a better program.
