i just want to know what in the hell is a south beat? is a south beat like dirty south rap.

also there is nothing wrong with music being simple. no one, other then producers, wants to listen to really technical, over whelming music. it ends up making the listener too confused.

yes if you listen close then you will hear him hitting the keys on the midi controller. i belive that he got most everything set up before hand, so he would not waste a lot of time with showing you how to set it all up. i loved the tutorial, i thought it was rather brilant.
