How to add a .nkr and .nkc file in Kontakt?

Go to libraries and select dd.When the folder pops up select where you installed it.
If it doesn't add make sure you have the folder as a part of your directory.
Go to Options.....Database..... if you don't see the folder where you installed it select add, select
the folder and then update or rescan.

If you don't see the file or get an error.Look at the files part of Kontakt instead of the library.
Scroll down to the install folder again and if you get that error about not being able to find the
nkr. hit "browse for files" and double click the nkr. there. It should open.
I downloaded it and it's giving me problems but it just may be the patch.

Peace

If there is no info.nkc, it means it isn't made to be a 'Powered by Kontakt', 'Library item'.
There are ways to create one and a registry hack on Windows, but if you don't have one, there is nothing to add.
It costs money to license a Kontakt instrument as a Library in this way and most things just aren't made to be one.

.nkr is a resource container, for eg., the GUI and skin.
info.nkc is what Kontakt uses to add Library as you expect is going to happen, that is up until K5 which uses .nicnt for it.
the other, plain .nkc is a container template so you can make multis etc.
