best keyboard workstation for pop/R&B

Im looking for the best keyboard workstation to get for an R&B/pop singer similar to lets say Ashanti with a thicker vocal..I wanna find a nice workstation that could help make songs in that genre and also be user friendly and compatible with the G5, pro-tools and the software environment...I know theyre are so many to choose but considering what we are doing, what seems to be a good fit? I can get a kurzweil 2600x for a very decent price but I dont know how suitable that would be for what were doing...I see that most people hear prefer the triton or motif..any ideas? suggestions?

Well, the most popular synth appears tro be the Korg Triton. Coming up close behind it is the Yamaha Motif. There are a few other dope ones from Roland and other companies. But the all around "popular" synth is the Triton. If you learn to program it or sample or use editor librarians with it, you'll keep it sounding new, fresh and current for some years to come.
