Beginner proposed setup review.

Just looking for some advice on a setup.

Something that appeals to me is a setup that is not so much computer screen focused. So maybe an MPC hooked up to a hardware synth/keyboard or hooked up to a midi keyboard for soft sythns or sample packs.

Granted, a computer will enable the software, but the work flow is mostly MPC. I'm brand new to this so please correct me where needed.

In short, can I essentially hook everything up to the MPC and have it be the focal point of my work flow in terms of sequencing and building everything together?

Many Thanks.

Im in the same boat man, i have an mpc one coming in the mail and i want to build my studio around it, im looking on what to get next.

You will need a computer, a digital audio interface, and a DAW.

So a laptop, something like a Focusrite Scarlett, and FL Studio.

The laptop with FL Studio, receives audio input and output from the Focusrite Scarlett audio interface. Your MPC connects to the laptop via a USB to Midi-converter/or directly via USB depending on the model.

From there it's your creativity and learning the equipment you have.

This is all just an example.
