Alright I guess I'll start out with my 3 remixes so no one has to hear your weak stuff first.

Remix 1: I'll start it off with a little Move That Dope remix

Remix 2: Chill Gucci mane remix for ya

Remix 3: And the final blow, a smooth Biggie remix just in case you still think I'm a "millennial trap lover". GG

P.S. Really glad you didn't call this a "beat off". Let's see what you got kid

 Going to let the music speak for itself. I have kids, kid:pointing: You really think Biggie would have rapped Dead Wrong, approved of, or even sounds good on that soft-ass beat? Smh....

Something for down South

Not vote-able, but just to show you a few Biggie probably would have actually rapped to.

Acapella quality is terrible, but that cant be helped.

Yeah we'll let the voters decide. I'm not going to entertain the idea of biggie "approving" of my remix. It's not the 90s anymore old head. I'm not gonna make a boring boom bap remix, I put my own spin and sound into the biggie remix. Also your mixing could use a little work. Let the voting begin.

Fave: MB Remix (BoB, TI, JJ).

2nd: They don't love you

3rd: Dead Wrong

Honorable mention: Kick in the door (I would have had this as my fave but its not in the vote)

Damn, wouldn't be surprised if there's a little bias going on since people know/have seen MB's posts around here but all good. I'll take the L lol, pretty clear I'm not getting any top spots. A lot of this website is geared towards boom bap type beats and not a lot of flips on this site sound like mine so I understand why the votes go MB's way. All good, I still am confident in my sound and know we are both good producers just have different styles. Much love!

I know the voting closed and it doesn't matter but I would've voted:

3 points: Gucci
2 points: Dead Wrong
1 point: We Still in this B*tch

These styles are just so contrasting it's tough. "Apples to oranges" is a dumb ass saying but I think it really applies here. Kudos to both of y'all because I really mess with all these remixes.

I think I've been posting on this site, and in this forum in particular, since I first started making beats five or six years ago. The "flip this" forum/hip hop was built on boom bap and soul samples so it seems unlikely that any other flavor would be able to win a battle. Nothing wrong with that I just view it as a fact. I truly believe Clams Casino could come in here and flip some magic and he'd lose to any of the dope boom bap guys who frequent this forum. I just view this battle as a DJ Smokey vs. 9th Wonder. Both 10 out of 10s in their lanes, but it comes down to a matter of taste.

TL;DR...Doesn't matter regardless because both of yall did work and that's what this forum is about. Glad to see some sh*t talk and more traffic in this realm of FP.

LATE,
both were great
styles clash way too much, u guys should have decided on a sample you both can flip or something that was really hard to flip.
this site does favor a lot of boom bap hip hop tho, L3 i thought ur mixes were dope!
