Dope Soul/Funk Sample - Lenny Williams

Hey I appreciate the feedback man. I knew when I was making it was gonna have to go off the beaten path and make it different to not sound like the kanye flip, which I think is what your referring to by recogonizable. I think thats why it might sound out if tune, I was pushing myself to do something different from my normal chops.

@Boom_Bap_Bill wasn't too crazy about the intro, to me it sounded kind of confusing. When the drums came in, that's when the mix came out really nice. Very clean

The sample is very recognizable, but decided to flip it anyways

thats dope. nottz my fav producer...i hear his bass lines in this. ;)
how do you done this pump effect, i can hear it in youre other tracks aswell. is it a gate?
